Male Brindle Desexed Pug X Pomeranian
Microchip Number: #956000008921236
DOB:  27/11/2012
5kg
RE108835
Little Pug x Pomeranian Gentleman seeking his lady….
Hunter says that despite his hair being a little fluffy and crazy….
He is generally a laid back lad and has to admit that he kind of likes being treated like a fur baby….

Shake, shake, shake…..
Hunter thinks fluffy soft toys are rather great……
Chew, chew, chew……
Nylabones are great too….

Hunter isn’t that impressed with other boy doggies and either ignores them or becomes a tough little man…..
As you have to be sassy when you are just 5kg…
But girl doggies he absolutely adores…
Sniffing, kissing, wrestling and tapping with his tiny paws….

Out walking Hunter struts and in the car he grins……
As getting to go on adventures is very exciting…..
He thrives with routine….
And understands what sit, wait, out, in and go to bed mean….

Ending up at a pound/shelter not in a good way……
Thanks to Pug Rescue for helping me his little face seems to say….
Recently desexed and a major dental complete….
Hip and hind leg xrays, blood tests, tear duct flush, antibiotics for kennel cough and his extremely stenotic nares (nostrils) now widened he can now breath through his nose which he thanks Dr Laura at Knox Vet for heaps…

Hunter says he is a perfect size to scoop up to sit on your lap……
And cuddles make him a happy chap…..
He hopes there are some little doggy ladies searching for a little man like him….
With a lovely furever home that will be welcoming…

Hunter is a very little boy.
Hunter is crate trained and will happily sleep on a soft doggy bed with another dog or in a crate with another dog.
Hunter is now toilet trained.
Hunter is fine at walking on a lead and harness.
Hunter will sit and wait and sit and wait until told it’s ok to eat.

Hunter’s furever home wishes:

♥ Hunter will not be rehomed as a single dog.  He has always had a female doggy companion.   He must have a home with a desexed, well trained and very well socialised outgoing but non reactive healthy fit female small pomerainian like dog aged between approx 7 to 10 years old.  He is not suited to being an only dog and not suited to being placed with another male dog nor with another breed of dog that is very different to himself or much larger then himself.
♥Hunter is seeking humans that can love him and provide him with regular baths, face wipes and brushes.
♥Hunter may be suitable for dog friendly/respectful children but we would recommend that he’s not suitable for homes that will have future young children.
♥Hunter requires secure brick, timber or colourbond fencing.
♥We are unsure of how Hunter would be with cats.
♥Hunter requires regular walks and outings.
♥Not suitable for homes where he would be left without humans for 6+ hours a day on a regular basis.
♥Lochie absolutely requires air-condition.
♥Access to the inside of his house 24/7 and an indoor bed.
♥Hunter would be fine in a home with a smaller yard or courtyard.

Medical notes:

Hunter has undergone widening of his nares (nostrils), tear duct flush and hip & knee xrays at Knox Vet Clinic.

Hunter has undergone desexing & a major dental.

Hunter has undergone full bloods and antibiotic treatment for kennel cough.

Hunter is desexed, C5 vaccinated, is microchipped & up to date with his worming & flea prevention.

Male Black Desexed Pug (possibly crossed)
Microchip Number: #99100300729835
DOB: 14/06/2020
9.7kg
RE108835
Lochie is a young strapping one year old pug lad who’s looking for fun….
And yes he can’t help but stick out his tongue….
In Pug Rescue foster care he has lost over 3kg which of course has done wonders for his general health, waist line and ability to breath, wrestle and run….
He can shake hands, sit, wait, drop and turn around so yes he’s also smart one….

Wrestle, run and play…….
Is what Lochie loves doing all day……
Soft toys to toss in the air and play tug of war with or a chew toy to chew…..
Lochie is always looking for something fun to do….
And like any young fit lad he absolutely adores going for walkies too……

Lochie arrived to Pug Rescue care with rude manners including being rude and bulling other dogs, jumping up on people, nipping, mouthing, screaming when handled having no bite inhibition and many more…..
These are all typical behaviours of dogs that have lacked correct critical puppy development period care and then lacked correct socalisation and handling resulting in behaviour which is undesirable, annoying and poor…
During Lochie’s time in Pug Rescue care he has not only lost over 3kg in weight and been treated for ear infections he has also been taught that mouthing and nipping is not appropriate, that jumping up is not appropriate, how to calmly have his face and ears inspected and cleaned and that being a stand over man with other dogs is not a good thing to do…
He’s learnt to share too….

A scratch and a pat…….
Even though Lochie is a bigger boy he still likes to snuggle on your lap…..
He thrives with routine….
And understands what many words and instructions mean….
A typical young boy who pretends he is tough but underneath he’s extremely loyal and a big sook….
Who makes everyone smile with his derpy look……

Pug Rescue have helped Lochie come a long way….
But now it’s time for him to find a furever home with humans that can continue showing him the way……
And a puggy girlfriend or sister that can keep him in line and also wrestle, run and play……

Lochie is a tall large statured boy.
Lochie is crate trained and will happily sleep on a soft doggy bed with another pug or in a crate with another pug.
Lochie is toilet trained.
Lochie now walks well on a lead, martingale collar and harness and although he can be a bit excitable at the start of walks he does calm.  He is not reactive just pulls.
Lochie will sit and wait and sit and wait until told it’s ok to eat.
Lochie will shake hands, point, sit, wait and drop.

Lochie’s furever home wishes:

♥ Lochie will not be rehomed as a single pug he has thrived in foster care due to having pug companions to not only play with but also teach him manners.  He must have a home with a desexed, well trained and very well socialised outgoing but non reactive healthy desexed fit female pug or pug like x aged between approx 1 to 3 years old.  He is not suited to being an only pug and not suited to being placed with another male pug nor with another breed of dog.
♥Lochie is not suitable to be rehomed with another male pug/dog, as a single pug or with another breed of dog.
♥Lochie is seeking humans that can continue show him good leadership and set boundaries for him.  Lochie’s humans need to demonstrate they can calmly clean Lochie’s face, ears, eyes etc as this is something we have taught him whilst in care.  Lochie is quite a strong boy and if his humans allow him to struggle he will revert to his past life behaviours.
♥Lochie is not suitable for a home with young children nor for a home that will have future young children.  He may be suitable for a home with older teenage/adult children
♥Lochie with all of our pugs requires secure brick, timber or colourbond fencing.
♥Lochie is not suited to a home with cats.
♥Lochie requires at least a 30+ minute walk every day.
♥Not suitable for homes where he would be left without humans for 6+ hours a day on a regular basis.
♥Lochie absolutely requires air-condition.
♥Access to the inside of his house 24/7 and an indoor bed.
♥Lochie would be best suited to family homes with larger yards.  He’s not suited to apartments, units, townhouses etc.  He’s also not suited to inner city life.

Medical notes:

Lochie has lost 3.2kg whilst in Pug Rescue foster care.  He was 12.9kg and now is 9.7kg.

Lochie has been successfully treated for ear infections by Knox Vet Clinic.

Lochie desexed, C5 vaccinated, is microchipped & up to date with his worming & flea prevention.

Lochie has a slightly longer jaw on one side and a long tongue which sticks out.  This does not cause him issues.

Lochie has mild carpal valgus which causes his front legs/wrists to have a bend. This doe snot cause him issues.

Lochie has undergone extensive behavioural training whilst in care including learning how to be handled and how to play and socalise.

Male Fawn Desexed Pedigree Pug
Microchip Number: #900079000517300
DOB: 03/12/2018
9kg approx
RE108835

Occy here to report I’m a good puggy boy…
Ready to fill my furever home with lots of puggy joy….
I love getting cuddles and pats from everyone….
And think that everyday should be filled with lots of fun…..

I know how to sit, stay and wait…
Which is apparently is great and I have now learnt how to have my face and ears cleaned calmly without working myself up into a silly state….
I missed out on a fair bit of socalisation of and play time in my first 2 and a bit years….
So I came to Pug Rescue not really understanding how to interact  properly with other dogs and being a bit reactive due to not understanding which manifested itself into a bit of fear…..
But Pug Rescue have been helping with teaching me how to interact nicely with other dogs and socalising me…..
And not only have I lost some weight I have learnt to share with my foster siblings and run and play wrestling and chasey yippy…

The best thing to occur during my time in Pug Rescue care…
Is being granted the wish to not struggle to breath air….
Just over 6 weeks ago at the age of 2 I couldn’t walk for more then 10 to 15 minutes without stopping and nearly collapsing which would cause quite a scare…
But now 6 weeks post specialist airway surgery and recovery I can now trot along for 40+ minutes enjoying the wind blowing through my hair….
At Knox Vet Clinic Specialist surgeon Dr Ricky of Veterinary Specialist Surgery Australia used his skills to correct someone else’s unsuccessful attempt at airway surgery on me that I underwent last November before coming into Pug Rescues care….
Dr Ricky was thankfully able to somehow improve and widen what was left of my nostrils and performed a folded flap palatoplasty to shorten and thin my blob of a soft palate and a tonsillectomy to remove my enlarged tonsils all of which have now allowed me to gain more air….
Two weeks of weeks of strict crate rest, hand feeding and meds I underwent….
Then a slow build up of daily puggy life and exercise has made me a very happy and fit puggy gent…

VIDEO OF OCCY BEFORE & AFTER AIRWAY SURGERY

In the evening I like watching tv…….
And resting my head on a humans knee……
I am sure there is a perfect active furever home with a puggy girl out there for me…..
One that understands I am young and can still be a bit cheeky….
But is ready to have their lives filled with Occy glee……

Occy is crate trained and will happily sleep on a soft doggy bed with another pug or in a crate with another pug.

Occy is toilet trained and will hold on untill he has access to go outside.

Occy now walks well on a lead and harness and although he can be a bit excitable, reactive he can easily be distracted and redirected/reassured with treats .

Occy will sit and wait and sit and wait until told it’s ok to eat.

Occy’s furever home wishes:

♥ Occy will not be rehomed as a single pug he has thrived in foster care due to having pug companions to not only play with but also teach him.  He must have a home with a desexed, well trained and very well socialised outgoing but non reactive healthy desexed fit female pug aged between approx 1 to 4 years old.  He is not suited to being an only pug and not suited to being placed with another male pug nor with another breed of dog.
♥Occy is not suitable to be rehomed with another male pug/dog, as a single pug or with another breed of dog.
♥Occy is seeking humans that can continue show him good leadership and set boundaries for him.  Occy’s humans need to demonstrate they can calmly clean Occy’s face, ears, eyes etc as this is something we have taught him whilst in care.  Occy is quite a strong boy and if his humans allow him to struggle he will revert to his past life behaviours.
♥Occy would suit and actually love a home with dog savy high school aged kids.  He is not suitable for a home with young children nor for a home that will have future young children.
♥Occy with all of our pugs requires secure brick, timber or colourbond fencing that can not be seen through.
♥Occy is not suited to a home with cats.
♥Occy requires at least a 30+ minute walk every day.
♥Not suitable for homes where he would be left without humans for 6+ hours a day on a regular basis.
♥Occy absolutely requires air-condition.
♥Access to the inside of his house 24/7 and an indoor bed.
♥Occy would be best suited to family homes with larger yards.  He’s not suited to apartments, units, townhouses etc.  He requires fencing that can not be seen through and is not right next to a footpath etc and we would advise the yard area he has access to does not have fence lines that have neighbors dogs as Occy will fence run.

Medical notes:

Occy has undergone specialist airway surgery at Knox Vet Clinic.  Dr Ricky Cashmore of Veterinary Specialist Surgery Australia performed a folded flap palatoplasty to shorten and thin Occy’s soft palate, widened Occy’s nares (nostrils) and a tonsillectomy to remove Occy’s enlarged tonsils.

Occy desexed, C5 vaccinated, has undergone dental work in the past year, is microchipped & up to date with his worming & flea prevention.

Occy has been successfully treated for ear infections at Knox Vet.

Microchip Number: #953010002509875
Victorian Pet Exchange Register Source Number: RE108835
DOB: 16/04/2018

Hi I’m Fred…….
Do you think I have pretty eyes and a handsome head?…..
Pug Rescue says I am a very nice boy….
And I can’t wait to find a furever home filled with joy….

I was a little bit anxious when Pug Rescue first got me….
And I had no concept of not dashing past humans and I felt the need to anxious pee…..
But I have learnt so much in foster care and now have excellent behaviour and I have slimmed down a bit yippy….
I like to run and play wrestle with my pug friends lots….
But I also think watching tv snuggle on the couch or in a bed is tops…..
And I do also love walkies trot, trot, trot….

I think banana is yummy and sometimes I am lucky enough to get some toast….
I will sit and wait for dinner to be served preferring raw food the most….
I’m a good boy at the park…
And I only sometimes bark….
I like pats….
And love cuddles on humans laps….

Snuggles with my foster pug siblings are the best…..
I must confess……
So I really would love my very own puggy sister or girlfriend princess….
So I am never lonely and always have a play friend….
And someone to snuggle with when the day ends……

So if you think I’m the puggy boy for you…..
And can make my furever home dreams come true….
Contact Pug Rescue……
And tell them that Fred sent you……
