Female Desexed Lilac French Bulldog – 8.5kg
Microchip Number: #956000014435307
DOB: 21/01/2022
RE108835

Hey look at me!…
I’m Felicia the pretty little lilac one and a half year old Frenchie….
And yes I am sweet and cheeky…
Pug Rescue took me in after a plea for help when my life was about to end…
I was in hospital as I had been most likely been injured and squashed by some large dogs and was having issues with my hind legs and back end…
I was on heat, quite scared and timid and not in a good way…
I’m so glad Pug Rescue said yes to helping me on that day…
And rushed me to see a specialist straight away….
Good news is that with resting, meds and special care my hind legs and back end recovered from being hurt yay…
Which is lucky because I love to run fast, jump, wrestle and play all day…

I had to wait a while to be desexed but finally the Knox Vet Team was able to perform that surgery on me…
They also xrayed my spine and my knees…
Of course being a typical French bulldog my spine has some non clinical butterfly vertebrae, block vertebrae and hemi…
After recovering from desexing it was time for my BOAS – Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome Surgery and luxating patella (MPL) surgery on my skipping left knee…

Dr Ricky and the Geelong Animal Referral Services Team performed my BOAS including a tonsillectomy and a folded flap palatoplasty…
Then they performed a trochleoplasty, tibial crest transposition and lateral imbrication to stabilise my patella in the correct place on my knee…
8 weeks of crating and leash walking rehab occurred and xrays confirm everything has healed in the correct place…
So I’m now able to run at an even faster pace..

Anyway enough of that medical stuff…
I want to talk about how I’m a fit, healthy active pup…
I used to be scared about being handled and touched…
But now I love cuddles and being picked up…
I love toys and I seriously adore wrestling and doing zoomies with my Frenchie friends especially the boys…

I might still be working on my dislike for the vacuum, hose and broom..…….
But I am so much better at accepting them as normal life but I can tell you that I won’t get over my dislike for possums any time soon……
Walkies are a great joy to me…
I now stride around confidently….

Foster mum says I’m full of Frenchie sass but I am a really good girl and do what I am asked to do…
So if you have a Frenchie boy that could be my soulmate and I sound like the girl for you…
Please send an adoption enquiry through…
