Male Desexed Fawn Pug X French Bulldog – 8.5kg
Microchip Number: #953010004018884
DOB: 24/10/2019
RE108835

Hey there everyone…
My name is Turtle and I’m a very good boy who is always up for fun….
I’m part Frenchie and part pug and now that my life make over, thanks to Pug Rescue, is done…
I am on the lookout for my own furever dad and/or mum…

I’ve learnt lots whilst in Pug Rescue care including how to socalise nicely and not to be afraid of things I don’t understand…
They tell me everyday that I am an awesomely good Frenchpug man…
I have done lots of work on my lead walking and I love walkies…..
Because I was a lockdown pup I used to be a bit silly at cars and strange people but have improved greatly and actually can walk pleasantly….
Oh I love toys very much and doing zoomies and wrestling with my pug and frenchie mates…
I’m a very gentle boy who loves cuddle and pats and I will sit, drop and wait..
I’m also super at doing what is instructed of me and know exactly where to run to to hop into my sleeping crate.

When I arrived into Pug Rescue care I had really yucky atopic skin and sore ears…
With Dr Laura at Knox Vet’s help with medicine they are both much better and clear….
I keep myself healthy now with fish based food and simple medicated shampoo baths which I like…
Because I know I have to keep myself looking ad feeling just right….

Pug Rescue knew I had a sore knee that was grating and clicking and my breathing wasn’t the best it could be….
So once my skin was under control Dr Ricky and the Geelong Animal Referral Services Team performed my BOAS including a tonsillectomy and a folded flap palatoplasty…
Then they performed luxating patella (MPL) surgery on my skipping sore left knee – trochleoplasty, tibial crest transposition and lateral imbrication to stabilise patella in the correct place on my knee…
8 weeks of crating and leash walking rehab occurred and xrays confirm everything has healed in the correct place…
So I’m now not in pain constantly and able to run at an even faster pace..

Anyway enough of that medical info…
I want to talk about how I’m a fit, healthy active boy now who wants to go go go…
I’m an all-round happy good boy …
So I hope that there is a furever home out there that I can fill with my Turtle joy….

Turtle’s furever home wishes:

♥ OTHER FRENCH BULLDOG/ FRENCH BULLDOG X/PUG/ PUG X – YES! Turtle lives with other Frenchies and pugs in his foster home. They have helped him greatly with socalisation and he loves to play with them and cuddle up at night to a friend. Turtle is a very fit active boy and is seeking a fit active female pug x/Frenchie x of a similar aged and sized (between 2 to 4 years) that is well socalised and non reactive as a companion.   Turtle will not be rehomed with other male dogs nor other completely fifferent breeds of dogs. Turtle will not be rehomed as a single dog.
♥ HUMANS – Turtle is seeking humans that can keep up with him and that can show him positive leadership.
♥KIDS – Turtle would be great with high school aged kids.
♥FENCING – Turtle requires secure brick, timber or colourbond fencing. Turtle does not like possums.
♥CATS – No he will chase. No pocket pets or possums.
♥EXERCISE – Turtle requires at least a 30+ minute walk a day.
