French Prince charming saying hey there everyone…
My name is Prince and I’m a very good boy who seeking his furever dad and or mum….
I’m a pure French Bulldog and now that my life make over, thanks to Pug Rescue, is complete…
I am really ready to land on my feet…
I was being used to breed with and then found myself in a major pound/shelter a bit confused about my life…
The pound/shelter looked after me, desexed me and tried to help make a few more things right….
They then reached out to Pug Rescue so I could have some specific brachy breed care…
Including some help with itchies patches from Dr Kent at Knox Vet and revision BOAS surgery as I had undergone BOAS surgery but was huffing and puffing and was still struggling for air….
Pug Rescue took me to Geelong Animal Referral Services to see specialist surgeon Dr Ricky….
Who performed the revision BOAS “Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome” surgery including tonsillectomy and a folded flap palatoplasty…
Over two weeks of crate rest, hand feeding and meds and my breathing has much improved yippy..
I am such happy well mannered boy….
I do what I am asked to do and I could spend hours playing chasey, wrestling with my frenchie mates and I absolutely love toys….
I have to be supervised with soft toys because I love them so much I sometimes explode them but that’s ok I am perfectly happy with rough toys to toss, shake and play fetch with all day…
I love walkies and trot along proudly and will sit and wait until told I can move and I am happy to sleep on a doggy bed or in a crate that I can stretch out and lay…
Anyway Pug Rescue says I am basically the pawfect French boy…
I get along with everyone and I’m always am happy and beaming with joy…
So if you have a Frenchie girlfriend for me and you think I sound like the boy for you…

Prince either sleeps in an indoor crate or a on doggy bed that he is happy to share with another Frenchie.
Prince is toilet trained.
Prince walks well on a lead and harness.
Prince knows how to sit and wait/stay.
Prince’s furever home wishes:
♥ OTHER FRENCH BULLDOG/ FRENCH BULLDOG X YES! Prince lives with other female Frenchies and has also lived with pugs in his foster homes. He is an extremly social boy and adores companionship especially of female french bulldogs of his own age. He is a very fit active boy and is seeking a fit active female Frenchie of a similar aged and sized (between 2 to 4 years) that is well socalised and non reactive as a companion. Prince will not be rehomed with other male dogs nor other completely dfifferent breeds of dogs. Prince will not be rehomed as a single dog.
♥ HUMANS – Prince is seeking humans that can keep up with him and that can show him positive leadership.
♥KIDS – Prince would be great with high school aged kids.
♥FENCING – Prince requires secure brick, timber or colourbond fencing.
♥CATS – Unsure. Maybe.
♥EXERCISE – Prince requires at least a 30+ minute walk a day and many hours of play time.
♥WORKING HOURS – Not suitable for homes where he would be left without humans for 6+ hours a day on a regular basis.
♥Prince absolutely requires air-condition.
♥Access to the inside of his house 24/7 and an indoor bed.
♥HOUSE & YARD SIZE/TYPE – Prince would do best in a home that has a larger yard he can do zoomies in.
Medical notes:
Prince has undergone vet check at Knox Vet.
Prince has undergone specialist BOAS airway surgery by Dr Ricky of GARS (folded palatoplasty to trim and reduce the thickness of his soft palate, widening of her nares/nostrils and tonsillectomy)
Prince is desexed, C5 vaccinated, is microchipped & up to date with his worming & flea prevention.
Prince has undergone xrays of his spine and hips and has typical French bulldog genetic findings that we only know about because he was xrayed. Many French bulldogs have spine and hip genetic deformities (probably your existing Frenchie has these) but they are hidden because the dog has not undergone xrays, CT/MRI.
Prince has a typical French Bulldog spine with some non clinical (no symptoms) hemivertebrae T5 T9 T10 T12 and kyphosis.
Prince has typical mild non clinical (no symptoms) bilateral hip dysplasia.
Prince is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date with his parasite control.
