Female Fawn Desexed Pug
Microchip Number: #956000004435471
DOB:09/09/2014

Gypsy is a sweetie….
Her curly tail waggles back and forth as if to say pick me!
She gives the cutest little teethy smile…
And does the best head tilts with her gorgeous puggy dial…..

Gypsy  loves pottering about….
Inside her Pug Rescue foster home and out…..
She loves a game of wrestle with her puggy foster brother….
And loves sitting on the front seat of the car whilst going for a drive with her foster mother…

In her past life Gypsy was used to breed many litters then placed up for sale for over $1k on Trading Post, thankfully some special people helped her come into Pug Rescue care…
Which is lucky as she had many health issues and was shedding copious amounts of hair….
Her breathing was horrendous meaning that even at rest she would start puffing so specialist airway at SouthPaws has been performed….
And now her breathing is actually better then the puggy norm….
Desexing, major dental, growth removal from her mouth and infected ear treatment at Knox Vet has been done for Gypsy as well…
After Pug Rescue has spent $4,000+ on her vet work she now is now a happy and healthy little girl which is swell….

Now it’s time for this little Gypsy to move on and find a furever home…..
With humans that will treat her like a treasure and puggy brother or boyfriend so that she will never be alone….

Gypsy is: crate trained or will sleep in a doggy bed, toilet trained and walks well on a lead and harness.

Gypsy’s furever home wishes:

♥Gypsy is seeking a desexed male Pug of a similar age as a companion and playmate ( between 3 to 6 years). Gypsy will not be rehomed as a single pug or with another female pug and  will not be rehomed with or with another breed of/ larger breed of dog   Please don’t ask for her to be.

Cash is a special little puggy boy…  With the help of the pug loving community we were able saved both of his eyes from blindness so he can now go onto a furever home and spread his puggy joy….

Arriving in care at 8 months old with a deep perforated ulcer on his left eye and a deep ulcer on his right eye…   It was hard to look at him and not want to cry…

We rushed him to eye specialist clinic Melbourne EyeVet and within 3 hours of being surrendered into our care he was undergoing emergency surgery to save both eyes and ensure he would not be blind… As without it at 8 months old he would have lost both of them which would have been devastation of the worst kind…

VIEW CASH’S EMERGENCY EYE SURGERY HERE

A corneal sliding graft for a deep perforated ulcer on his left eye and a conjunctival pedicle graft for a deep ulcer on his right eye were performed and then many weeks of rehab foster care including constant eye drops and medication, follow up appointments and love and care went by…  And the results have been brilliant for this little guy….  As his eyes are now beautiful and most importantly….  Cash can see!

Desexing and airway surgery at Knox Vet Clinic were the next step in Cash’s Pug Rescue rehab….  Resulting in a little puggy boy who is fab….

NORMAN (No more enquiries please)

To enquire about adopting Norman please email with how your home and lifestyle matches his furever home wishes. (Please include your Name, Email Address, Suburb & Phone Number): info@pugrescue.org.au

Please read our Adoption Process Here

Male Fawn Desexed Pug
Microchip Number: #978101080264087
DOB: 09/04/2009

Norman has such a happy face.. Because since coming to Pug Rescue his life has gone from sad to ace..

Norman loves his people to be around so he can hang out.. He tells us that’s what the pug life is all about..
He is slowly learning the joy of play.. And enjoys a 15+ minute walkie every day..

Norman is upset because 2 years ago Pug Rescue advised to have him desexed, how to toilet train & to taking him to the eye specialist to his old family.. Instead of that they kept him on a balcony..

Thankfully Norman has come to Pug Rescue now to start a new life…. And has had $1600+ of discounted vet care including desexed, vaccination, a lump was removed from his neck & a dental to remove his crusty rotten teeth so he is no longer in strife..
He’s also been to Melbourne Eyevet as one of his eyes was sore & covered in pigmentary keratitis & he now has some special eye drops twice a day to make his eye feel better and regain eye sight… It would be great if Norman’s eyes could let in some more light..

Norman has been working on his manners in Pug Rescue foster care.. He now understand how to be handled, not growl and bite, not jump & not pee everywhere.. He will still bark at loud noises and is learning not to mouth but he will get there..

Norman wonders if you can adopt him.. He promises to repay you with a massive puggy grin..

Norman is: crate trained, toilet trained and walks well on a lead and harness

Norman’s furever home wishes:

Norman is seeking a pug/pug like x  or possibly a gentle cavalier female of a similar age as a companion.  Norman will not be rehomed as a single dog or with another male dog or with another breed of dog as it would be detrimental to his wellbeing.  ♥Humans must be strong leaders and understand Norman has lived outside in a courtyard before arriving into our care and has some anxiety based behaviours (licking and being unsettled) which we now basically have under control. ♥ Kids aged 12+ Norman gets upset by lots of noise, commotion etc which is something that young children do in their every day life. ♥Not suitable for homes where he would be left without humans for 6+ hours a day on a regular basis. Daily walks. ♥ Access to the inside of his house 24/7 and an indoor bed.  ♥ Norman is fine with cats

Medical notes

Norman is desexed, C5 vaccinated, undergone a dental, visited the eye specialist, microchipped & up to date with worming & flea prevention

Norman has pigmentary keratitis on his eyes and requires daily Maxidex & Tacrolimus eye drops to help restore his eye sight. www.melbourneeyevet.com.au

Norman is on a very low dosage of anxiety medication which along with behavioural modification training has helped him turn into a normal settled senior gentleman pug.
