Female Desexed Pug  – 8kg
Microchip Number: #978101083220014
DOB: 20/01/2021
RE108835

Ivy is so pretty…
And always so happy….
That she waggles her whole body constantly with glee…
After a major life turn around thanks to Pug Rescue she’s ready to find her furever home yippy…

Sweet Ivy entered Pug Rescue peeing massive blood clots due to a chronic UTI are after having several litters of puppies via c-section in her past life…
We saw the blood straight away and knew she was in strife….
Lots of testing including urine samples and ultrasounds and xrays looking for stones were done…
And courses of antibiotics were prescribed by Knox Vet with Ivy requiring more than one…
Thankfully no stones were found just massive clots in her bladder which was very inflamed but with medication the battle with infection we finally won…

Ivy huffed and puffed quite badly so BOAS “Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome” surgery along with desexing was next on Ivy’s life transformation list to do…
For Ivy’s BOAS “Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome” surgery Dr Ricky of Geelong Animal Referral Services performed a folded flap palatoplasty to trim and thin her soft palate, a tonsillectomy and widened her nares/nostrils so she now has a less obstructed airway space to breathe through…
Under the same anesthetic Ivy also underwent final bladder xrays and desexing with everyone telling Ivy no more puppies for you…

Ear infections have been treated and resolved…..
Along with behavioural training to help her calm and teach her to sit as she had typical manic behavior many breeding dogs do even though she isn’t that old…..
Ivy says enough of that medical stuff as I’m extremely healthy and well behaved now and want everyone to know…
That us rescue pugs should be the ones winning best in show….

Ivy loves to socalise and walks fantastically on lead and harness…
She’s loved joining us at many of our promotional and fundraising events whilst she’s been in care with us….
Great with kids and adults too…
Ivy loves to wrestle and play with her puggy friends and toys make her go woo woo woo…
A soft gentle natured girl who is very adaptable….
Who’s seeking a furever family with a puggy brother or boyfriend that she can play with and curl up next to…
If you think that Ivy is the girl for you please send an adoption enquiry through…
