Gus is my name…
And if you have a soft toy for me to play with I’m always up for a game…
I wiggle my body with joy and glee…
One of my ears stands up whilst the other is flat because I’m part pug and part Frenchie…
Now that my life make over, thanks to Pug Rescue, is done…
I am on the lookout for my own furever dad and/or mum…
I’ve learnt lots whilst in Pug Rescue care including how to socalise nicely with other doggies and play…
In my old home I was fighting with another male dog due to same sex issues but Pug Rescue has behaviorally rehabbed me so I can be around other boys socially and hang out and play with girl doggies..
And I’m much better at not jumping up they say…
I like walkies heaps and walk at a good pace…..
Getting out and about and exploring is ace….
Did I mention I love soft toys and really any toy at all that I can play with and constantly carry around…
I love doing zoomies heaps and wrestling with my frenchie and pug mates…
I’ve been trying to decided out of my girl mates if I like the french ones or pug ones the best…
I am leaning towards thinking the petite french girls are best to play and hang with and are the cutest…
I’m a quite a gentle boy who loves cuddle and pats and I will sit and usually wait..
I’m also good at follow instructions but I can tell you that I have some typical frenchie traits..
I am not a fan of the hose but foster mum has been working on that and those pesky possums I don’t like in my yard if I go outside to pee pee late….
My breathing wasn’t the best it could be….
I had very stenotic nares (slit like nostrils) and would get quite huffy and puffy…
So Pug Rescue had Dr Ricky and the Geelong Animal Referral Services Team perform my BOAS surgery including nare widening, a tonsillectomy and a folded flap palatoplasty and they also desexed me…
Two plus weeks of crate resting, hand feeding soft food and meds and now my breathing is pretty ace…
And I am sprinting about everywhere with a big smile on my face..
So if anyone is looking for a good boy like me…
Please send Pug Rescue an adoption enquiry…
As I promise that I will fill my furever home with lots of glee….
