Sassy and sweet…
Pockets is a little puggy x lady that loves to chat back and tip tap with her little feet…
Zooming around….
This little girl is a delightful little puggy clown…..
Pockets loves loves loves toys and loves raiding the toy box…
Soft toys with squeakers she adores lots and she is sorry if they accidently go pop…
Jumping on the couch and sniggling in a bed….
Pockets likes to have cuddles and pats on her little head…
Finding herself in a major pound/shelter she was transferred into Pug Rescues care…
As she needed to learn a few manners and socalising skills, drop some weight and it was very clear she was struggling to breathe air…
This poor little girl was quite manic and upset but with time and guidance she has blossomed into the sweetest little sassy queen…
It took quite a few weeks for her to get the hang of sitting when asked but now she is a perfect sitter and does everything that is asked of her with an extra touch of keen…
Pockets made quite obvious obstructed breathing sounds so Pug Rescue granted her specialist BOAS “Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome” specialist surgery to ensure she has a lifetime of the best breathing possible……
Dr Ben at Melbourne Animal Referral Services performed her BOAS surgery including a folded palatoplasty to trim and reduce the thickness of her long soft palate, a tonsillectomy and widening of her stenotic nostrils/nares…
After two weeks of crate resting, meds and hand feeding she is bouncing around and more freely breathing air…..
Walkies and outings are the best…
Pockets walks nicely and is always enthusiastic…
Pockets says she is queen b of other doggies….
But she has begun to play with her foster siblings and has been found her cuddled up asleep with them quite happily…
So if you are looking for a sassy queen b puggy…
Pockets says pick me as she is searching for a furever daddy and/or mummy…
Please send through an adoption enquiry through….
As she’s waiting for you!

♥ ANOTHER PUG/PUG X – YES/MAYBE! Pockets we feel would be great with a male puggy friend to hang with and snuggle with. Pockets is seeking a similar aged healthy male desexed pug (between 5 to 7 years) that is well socalised and non reactive as a companion. Pockets will not be rehomed with other female pugs/dogs.
♥ HUMANS – Pockets is seeking humans that can show her positive leadership and routine.
♥KIDS – Pockets would be fine with young children who are respectful to dogs.
♥FENCING – Pockets as with all of our pugs requires secure brick, timber or colourbond fencing.
♥CATS – Unsure.
♥EXERCISE – Pockets requires at least a 209 minute walk a day plus play times.
♥WORKING HOURS – Not suitable for homes where she would be left without humans for 6+ hours a day on a regular basis.
♥Pockets absolutely requires air-condition.
♥Access to the inside of his house 24/7 and an indoor bed.
♥HOUSE & YARD SIZE/TYPE – Pockets would suit most homes with a yard.
Medical notes:
Pockets has undergone specialist BOAS airway surgery by Dr Ben at Melbourne Animal Referral Services (folded palatoplasty, widening of nares/nostrils and tonsillectomy) Dr Ben looked at xrays performed by the pound/shelter and it is felt that Pockets has a degree of hip dysplasia which does not cause her issues.
Pockets is desexed, C5 vaccinated, is microchipped & up to date with her worming & flea prevention.
