Female Black & White Desexed Pure Boston Terrier – 9.5kg
Microchip Number: #956000010098594
DOB: 10/07/2018
RE108835
Mable the Boston Terrier girl with pointy ears and black and white striped face…
This girl loves to dance and run around all over the place….
In true Boston Terrier style, she is an absolute clown…
With the help of Pug Rescue she’s had a life make over including learning how to sit down…
Learning lots whilst in Pug Rescue care including not to be afraid of things in the big wide word that once made her stop in her tracks…
Mable says full steam ahead with her new life she’s not looking back…
Lot of walks and vet visits socalising and meeting people and other dogs have been fun…..
And she is sorry but if you give her a pat and a cuddle she might be so happy and excited she will try to kiss you with her tongue….
She absolutely love toys and doing crazy zoomies are so great…
And she’s so excited that after lots of practice she will sit when asked and is working on wait..
And after many many many weeks of surgery rehab she is super at doing what is instructed and know exactly where to run to hop into her sleeping crate…
Mable arrived into Pug Rescue as an ex breeding girl ready to start a new life….
Along with being desexed she also had very common brachy breed genetic health issues that cost Pug Rescue $7,000+ in vet fees to be made right….
Pug Rescue took Mable to see Dr Sharon at Knox Vet who performed a dental to clean her teeth and ended her breeding days by desexing surgery…
Yippy….
Once she was recovered from desexing Pug Rescue knew she had a sore right knee that was grating and clicking and Mable’s breathing sounded like a very loud horrible machine making coffee….
So Dr Ricky and the Melbourne Animal Referral Services Team performed BOAS “Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome” surgery including a tonsillectomy, nare widening and a folded flap palatoplasty…
Then they performed luxating patella (MPL) surgery on her skipping sore right knee – trochleoplasty, tibial crest transposition and lateral imbrication to stabilise patella in the correct place on her knee…
8 weeks of crating and leash walking rehab occurred with Mable complaining lots and very loudly but finally xrays at Melbourne Animal Referral Services confirm everything has healed in the correct place…
So she’s now able to breathe so much better and she’s not in pain constantly and able to run at an even faster pace..
Anyway enough of that medical info…
Mable is all healthy, rehabbed and beautiful and now and it’s time to go…
So if you think that you might like having a Boston Terrier like her join your family …
Please send Pug Rescue a Mable adoption enquiry…..

Mable’s furever home wishes:
♥ OTHER DOG – No – Mable is an ex breeding dog and lived with other Boston Terriers and has been around other dogs in foster care. We have found if other dogs ignore her she is great but if they challenge her she can be dominant therefore we now feel she is best as a single dog.
♥ HUMANS – Mable is seeking humans that can keep up with her and that can show her positive leadership. Mable is seeking humans that are Boston Terrier breed savvy.
♥KIDS – Mable would most likely be fine with dog savvy kids.
♥FENCING – Mable requires secure brick, timber or colourbond fencing.
♥CATS – No.
♥EXERCISE – Mable requires at least a 30+ minute walk a day plus lots of play time.
♥WORKING HOURS – Not suitable for homes where she would be left without humans for 6+ hours a day on a regular basis.
♥Mable absolutely requires air-condition.
♥Access to the inside of her house 24/7 and an indoor bed.
♥HOUSE & YARD SIZE/TYPE – Mable would be best in a home with a yard that she can run around in.
