Can you tilt your head like me?
My name is Bailey...
And even though I only have one eye I sure can still see...
I am only two..
And Pug Rescue says that now I've had all my vetwork done they are going to find me a wonderful furever home whoo hoo..

I love cuddles and apparently I'm like like a teddy bear...
And with my one eye I will lovingly stare...
I absolutely love soft toys very much...
Off to the toybox to pick a few out I rush..
I love wrestles and chasey's and zoomies with my pug friends...
And snuggling up together when the day ends...
I even asked one of the other Pug Rescue pug girls if I can be their puggy boyfriend.

I used to live in the country with other puggy friends but I moved down to the city into Pug Rescues care...
I've had nice baths and brushes of my hair..
I've also lost 2kg+ in weight so I am now feeling great...
I had my vaccination, underwent a dental and was desexed at Knox Vet which is great...
Last on my surgery list was specialist airway surgery..
Which has improved my breathing yippy..
At Patterson River Veterinary Centre Dr Alex of Melbourne Animal Referral Services/ Geelong Animal Referral Service Team performed BOAS "Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome" surgery involving a folded palatoplasty to thin and trim my very long and thick soft palate, a tonsillectomy to remove my big tonsils and widened my extremely stenotic nostrils/nares…

I crate rested and was hand fed soft food and meds for two weeks after my airway surgery...
Now I'm back to playing and going walkies..
So anyway I'm searching for my furever home with a family that will love me...
And a girlfriend or sister puggy..
So if you think I could come and live with you please send an enquiry...

Bailey’s furever home wishes:

♥ ANOTHER PUG – YES! For adopters wishing to adopt two pugs Bailey could be paired with our girls Mindy or Cassy. Bailey has always lived with other pugs.  Bailey is a small active little boy who loves to play and is seeking a similar aged healthy female small desexed pug (between 1 to 3 years) who is well socalised as a companion.   Bailey will not be rehomed with other male pugs/dogs.  Bailey will not be rehomed as a single pug. Bailey will not be rehomed with another breed of dog. Bailey will not be rehomed with a pug that is much older than him.
♥ HUMANS – Bailey is seeking humans that can keep up with him and that can show him positive leadership. He also need humans that will do everything and pay anything to save his only eye if it ever becomes injured,   Bailey can never be made by his humans to become overweight!!!!
♥KIDS – Yes.  Bailey would be fine with children who are respectful to dogs.
♥FENCING – Bailey as with all of our pugs requires secure brick, timber or colourbond fencing. Bailey can be barrier reactive so his homes yard will have fencing he can not see out of.
♥CATS – No.  Too risky with Bailey only having one eye,
♥EXERCISE – Bailey requires at least a 20 to 30 minute walk a day plus play times.
♥WORKING HOURS – Not suitable for homes where he would be left without humans for 6+ hours a day on a regular basis.
♥Bailey absolutely requires air-condition.
♥Access to the inside of his house 24/7 and an indoor bed.
♥HOUSE & YARD SIZE/TYPE – Bailey may be fine in a house/townhouse with a smaller yard but does need somewhere to do zoomies. This area must be safe for him with no bushes or things to run into or fall off as he has only 50% vision and we don’t want to risk his only eye being injured.
