Hello I’m Finn…
Do you like my toothy grin?
I’m so happy that Pug Rescue has turned my life completely around that I am always joyfully wiggling..
I’m just a little puggy bloke who has won the hearts of everyone who has met me….
And my foster mum who has fostered hundreds and hundred of pugs says I am cheeky but I’m a little cutey and she has a soft spot for me yippy…
So obviously I am the bestest boy and of course a cutey…
Can you believe at 9 years old and I ended up at major pound/shelter as a stray…
And my past neglectful people knew I was there but decided that’s where I should stay..
I’ve forgotten about those silly people as they were badly neglecting me anyway…
Pug Rescue turned my life around treating my health issues and behavioural issues yay…
When I came into Pug Rescue care from the major pound..
I was literally a walking matted shedding hairy potato and very round..
Weighing 11kg and with Pug Rescue’s help I’ve lost nearly 4kg+ am now 7.2kg which is great…
As puggies should not be hairy walking potatoes and should be in a fit slim state…
I used to scream and tantrum constantly…
Thanks to Pug Rescue I’ve settled down and know that’s just silly…
I had horrible rotten smelly teeth that I underwent a dental for at Knox Vet and also had a growth taken off my toes too..
My eyes have pigmentary keratitis so I’ve been taken to the eye specialist Melbourne Eye Vet and I now have daily eyedrops to restore my vision woo hoo..
And of course I had absolutely horrendous breathing and sounded like a steam train due to BOAS “Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome” which should have been addressed years ago or better yet I shouldn’t have been bred with this genetic issue…
Because they care Pug Rescue granted me specialist airway surgery by Dr Ricky of Melbourne Animal Referral Services including a folded palatoplasty to trim and reduce the thickness of his long soft palate, a tonsillectomy and widening of his stenotic nostrils/nares with the surgery removing lots of excess soft tissue……
After two weeks of crate resting and hand feeding I no longer gasps constantly for air or make horrible sounds…
$4,500+ of rescue prices vet work has been spent on me plus hundred of hours of unpaid Pug Rescue care have helped me turn my life around…
Enough about that helath stuff and more about my personality……
I’ve already mentioned that I’m always extremely happy….
I get along with all my puggy friends perfectly and can sit and wait for dinner and treats….
I need to be lifted on the couch but I like sitting on laps and having cuddles and I am easy to pick up and carry if you need to….
I like walkies and trot along nicely whoo hoo…
I will have a game of wrestling and I cuddle up to other puggies to nap and sleep….
I’m a good boy for my eye drops and basically I’m just sweet….
So anyway if you like the look of my toothy grin….
Please make an adoption enquiry to Pug Rescue for me and send an adoption application in…
