We rely on donations to continue the work that we do.  Find Out How To Donate Here  A 5 year old pug that has undergone a desexing, vaccination, microchipping, airway surgery and a dental will have cost us $3,000+ alone in vet work yet their adoption fee is less then $1,000.  How do we afford to cover our bills you ask?  Via your DONATIONS

Male Black Desexed Pug
Microchip Number: #991001001545670
DOB: 26/08/2018

Harley is as cheeky as they come….
This 11 month old puggy boy is always up for fun….
He absolutely loves to wrestle and play with puggy friends and boy can he run…
And we have to admit he is as handsome as pugs come…

In Pug Rescue care Harley has undergone $1,600+ in vet work including been desexed and airway surgery at Knox Vet which he is thankful for…
He’s been working very hard in his foster home on behavioural work such as listening to instruction, socialising manners and how to shake paw….
Cuddle’s and pats…
Harley says please give me more of that…

Harley loves toys….
Chew ones and soft ones really bring him lots of joy….
Harley will now sit and wait….
Which his foster mum says is great….

Walkies around the neighbourhood to burn some energy Harley very much enjoys….
He’s learning to walk nicely on his harness and lead and be a good boy…..
After a long day of puggy antics this big black pup….
Likes to find a soft bed or couch on which to snuggle up…

Such a delightful boy….
Harley can’t wait to find an active furever family, including a puggy girlfriend, that can guide him through his teenage pughood and in return he will provide daily puggy joy…..

Harley is toilet trained, will sit and wait until told it’s ok to eat, is learning to walk nicely on a lead and harness and is happy to sleep in a doggy bed with a puggy companion or a big comfy crate with a puggy companion.

Harley’s furever home wishes:

♥ Harley would love an active family that can provide him with great leadership.
♥ Harley is a larger statured puggy boy and is seeking a desexed pug female of a similar age as a companion, play friend and teacher (between 1 to 3 years). Harley will not be rehomed as a single pug or with another male pug or with another breed of dog.   Please don’t ask for him to be.  Harley is a big black puggy teenager and a late desexed and thinks wants to be the boss of any other male dog in his home.  This will never change!
♥Harley is seeking humans that are strong leaders and understand that he is very strong willed smart little boy in need of direction.  He has worked very hard on his self control, being handled without making a fuss and how to socialise and play with other pugs whilst in Pug Rescue care.  He seeks instructions and praise from his humans.
♥Harley is suitable for children 12+years who are dog savvy.  He is a larger statured male pug and although he is a lovely natured boy he could still accidently knock a small child over.  Ideally Harley is seeking a home that will not have children or who have completed their human family and have older primary school aged or high school aged children.  Harley is not suitable for a home that will be having new children/babies in his lifetime.
♥Not suitable for homes where he would be left without humans for 6+ hours a day on a regular basis.
♥Harley absolutley must have daily walks of at least 30 minute.
♥Access to the inside of his house 24/7 and an indoor bed.
♥Harley is not suitable for apartments, units, townhouses etc  that have neighbours right next to them and do not have a yard.  He is not a big barker but has black pug vocal cords which give him a big bark and allow him to sing opera if he is trantruming.  He’s more suited to an older style suburban block.

Medical notes

Harley has undergone $1,600 of vet work in Pug Rescue care.  He is desexed, has undergone airway surgery (nostrils widened & soft palate resected) C5 vaccinated,  microchipped, up to date with worm & flea prevention.

Harley has undergone extensive behavioural training whilst in Pug Rescue care.

Male Fawn Desexed Bulldog X Pug

Microchip Number: #956000006232420
DOB: 03/04/2016

Hey I’m Hank…
The three year old bulldog x pug tank….
Foster mummy says I am a big goofy boy with a soft nature and big heart….
I love pats, cuddles and I am very smart…

I was a bit overweight and a bit afraid when I arrived into Pug Rescue foster care…
But I have lost over 2kg and now know I don’t have to get anxious as the big wide world is awesome out there….
I really enjoy my walks and stride along with pride…..
I will sit and wait when asked and look up at my human by my side….

Toys are so much fun….
I love soft ones, tug ones, chew ones and even love playing fetch with a ball as I love to run….
In my foster home I’ve learnt some self control including not jumping up and down….
But sometimes I can’t help be excited and acting like a goofy clown….

Playing with my pug x foster sister is great….
We wrestle and run so in my furever home I am looking for the perfect companion and playmate…..
I like soaking up some sunshine….
Hopefully there is an awesome forever family out there that can soon become mine…

Hank is toilet trained, will sit and wait until told it’s ok to eat, walks beautifully on a lead and martingale collar and is very happy to sleep in a big comfy crate.

Hank’s furever home wishes:

  • ♥Hank is 15.3kg and the size of an tall American staffy hence he is  seeking a suitable desexed  larger female pug x, female bulldog x or a female dog that looks similar to himself   (aged approx. 2 to 4 years) as a companion and play friend.
  • ♥Hank is not suitable to be rehomed with another male pug/dog, as a single pug/dog.  Please don’t ask for him to be.
  • ♥Hank is seeking humans that can show him good leadership.  He is very receptive to positive directions.  He’s a really well mannered boy when he has great leaders as his humans.  We are sure he would be able to learn to drop and shake paw.
  • ♥Hank is best suited to children who are 10+ as he is a big boy.  He would love an active home.
  • ♥Hank requires secure fencing.
  • ♥We are unsure of what Hank is like around cats.  He may be fine with a dog savvy cat.
  • ♥Hank requires at least a 20 minute walk every day.
  • ♥Not suitable for homes where he would be left without humans for 6+ hours a day on a regular basis.
  • ♥Hank of course requires air-condition.
  • ♥Access to the inside of his house 24/7 and an indoor bed.
  • ♥Hank is best in a home with a bigger block of land or a smaller home that can exercise him regularly and have him inside when people are not at home.

Medical notes:

Hank is desexed, C5 vaccinated, microchipped & up to date with his worming & flea prevention.

ALICE (No more enquiries for now please)

Female Black Desexed Pug x Jack Russell
Microchip Number: #991001002698034
DOB:23/02/2019

Alice is small but oh so very mighty….
Thankfully her Pug Rescue foster mum has taught her not to be mouthy and bitey….
A very inquisitive and busy little puppy girl…
With the cutest little pink tongue and tiny black tail curl…

Alice loves to run and play…
And could wrestle and play tug of war with her foster puggy brother all day….
Oh Alice did you just pull the cushions off the couch….
Oh Alice have you pulled out every toy from the toy box and scattered them around the house…
Oh Alice are you running around with a bed on your head…
Oh Alice is that you having a bark at the birds and now your saying you need to be fed…

Scuttling here and there at a fast pace….
Alice likes to munch on grass, carry around sticks and give flowers a quick taste….
Sitting for breakfast and dinner is something Alice has learnt to do…
And she will also give cuddles on your shoulder and little puppy kisses too…..

Now that her desexing and her last vaccination has been done…
Alice says it’s time for her to find a furever home where she can have endless love and fun….

Alice’s furever home wishes:

♥ Alice is a puppy and needs her furever home to continue her training and guidance with her humans being strong leaders.  Alice is crate trained, has learnt to sit for food and treats, is nearly toilet trained (she will hold on overnight in her crate) and is continuing her lead and harness walking training.   Alice is very busy and needs her forever home to continue with showing her how to be calm, relaxed and to concentrate/focus.
♥ Alice is being fed 2 meals a day.
♥ Alice is seeking desexed male pug or small desexed male pug x (aged between approx. 1 to 3 years) as a companion and play friend in her forever home. Alice will not be homed as a single pug, with a much older pug/pug x or with another breed of dog, please don’t ask for her to be. 🙂
♥ Alice is not suitable to be placed into a home with an already existing female pug as we can guarantee that once Alice is older the two girls would end up having same sex dominance issues.
♥ Alice is seeking a home with high school aged children.  At this point in time Alice is not suited to a home with younger children.
♥ Alice is very small and fast and not suited to humans who are not dog puppy savvy or humans unable to catch and pick her up. Alice is not suitable for humans that are unsteady on their feet or vision impaired.
♥ Not suitable for homes where she would be left without humans for 6+ hours a day on a regular basis.
♥ We are unsure of how Alice is with cats. We would suggest that Alice is not suited to a home with pocket pets.
♥ Access to the inside of her house 24/7 and an indoor bed and of course very secure fencing.  Alice also need her furever home to be puppy proof.
♥ Alice has a big high pitched bark and scream and requires a larger older style house block.  Alice is not suitable for units/townhouses with small yards/courtyards.

Medical notes:

Alice is desexed, fully vaccinated, microchipped & up to date with worming & flea prevention.
