Female Black Desexed Pug x Cavalier – 7.7kg
Microchip Number: #991001001117517
DOB: 22/09/2017
RE108835

Molly with the heart of gold and twinkle in her eye….
She used to be a 15.6kg girl who was morbidly obese, scared and shy…..
Having lost 7.9kg, which is over half her body weight, dropping to her current 7.7kg, growing in confidence and undergoing gold standard brachy vet work she is now well and truly ready for her pawfect furever home to come by…

Woo woo woo…
Molly says I love you….
As some of her cute Cavalier traits come out…
She waggles her whole body, rolls over on her back and makes little smiles with her mouth….

Over 7.9kg in weight shed off her meaning she looks like a different girl to the one that first arrived into our care…..
Ear infection treatment, desexing and a major dental at Knox Vet as well as many baths and brushes to remove all of her built up dead hair….
Even after weight loss her breathing was quite bad so she underwent Specialist BOAS airway surgery by Dr Alex from Melbourne Animal Referral Services/Geelong Animal Referral Services at Knox Vet – folded palatoplasty to shorten and thin her soft palate, tonsillectomy and widening of her nares (nostrils) was done…
Meaning she no longer struggles to breath when she runs around having fun….
Molly is now fit and well..
And so happy about having a new lease on life as you can tell….

Molly is a very sociable girl with other non dominant pugs and loves to run around, wrestle and play…
She loves soft toys and chew toys yay…
Sitting on the couch snuggled up to a puggy friend or finding a spot of sun…
Molly is a girl who is happy to chill out but she also is definitely ready for fun….

From originally being extremely scared to walk on a lead she now strides confidently….
And loves her walkies and outings as she gets to waggle her whole body with glee….
Molly is very attentive to her humans and will do what is asked of her including sit and wait…
She thinks pats, cuddles and tummy rubs are great….
After a massive rehabilitation journey she can’t wait to find her furever home that includes a boy puggy/ boy puggy x as a soulmate mate….

Molly’s furever home wishes:

♥ OTHER DOG – YES! Molly will not be rehomed as a single dog. She has always had a pug companion. She must have a home with a desexed, healthy, not overweight, well trained and very well socialised outgoing but non reactive male pug/pug x of a similar age to herself. (approx 5 years to 7 years old) Molly is fine socalising and even holidaying with other female pugs/dogs but is not suited to being homed with another female pug/pug x nor suited to being homed with another vverry dfferent breed of dog.
♥ HUMANS – Molly is seeking humans that can provide her with good leadership. She is extremely responsive to being shown the correct way to do things.
♥KIDS – Molly would be fine with younger children who are respectful to dogs.
♥FENCING – Aria with all of our pugs requires secure brick, timber or colourbond fencing.
♥CATS – Unsure. Molly may be ok with dog savvy cats.
♥EXERCISE – Molly loves her walks and adventures and requires at least a 20 to 30 minute walk a day.
♥WORKING HOURS – Not suitable for homes where she would be left without humans for 6+ hours a day on a regular basis.
♥Molly absolutely requires air-condition.
♥Access to the inside of her house 24/7 and an indoor bed.
♥HOUSE & YARD SIZE/TYPE: Molly would like a home with a yard but may be ok in a townhouse/unit with a larger courtyard area.
