Microchip Number: #956000008399166
DOB: 11/04/2012

A little senior puggy gentleman looking for love…
Gucci wonders if anyone wants a hug?…
At 10 years young…
He’s excited that his new life has just begun…

Ohh is that a new fluffy toy or chew toy?
Gucci loves toys and bounces around with joy…
Ohh is that my harness and lead?
Gucci loves daily slow walkies yes indeed…

Arriving into care with major ingrained anxiety related erratic littermate syndrome behavioural issues having living with his littermate sister and both being entire/undesexed for ten years….
In Pug Rescue foster care Gucci has worked through learning that he doesn’t need to run up and down erratically, doesn’t need to fight and doesn’t need to mark and air kick all the time…
We are pleased to say Gucci’s behaviour and anxiety has improved dramatically and he no longer feels the need to mark or rumble and now gets along with his senior foster siblings just fine…

Gucci has been desexed/castrated, vaccinated, undergone a major dental at Knox Vet with yuck tartar and teeth removed plus xrays of his elbow…
He has some arthritis, but he is far from slow….
2.5kg of excess weight lost….
which has helped his breathing and health a lot…
He is also under the care of eye specialist Melbourne EyeVet to make his eyes comfortable and restore his vision hopefully….
Gucci says he’s a good boy for his eyedrops as afterward he gets a treaty…

Sunbaking is great..
Or just hanging with a human or a puggy mate….
Gucci says for dinner he has learnt to wait and sit….
He’s crossing his paws that a furever home is out there that is a pawfect fit….

Gucci sleeps on an indoor doggy bed eitherby himself or with another pug.
Gucci is toilet trained but in a new home hee might have a few settling in pees.
Gucci walks great on a lead and harness and isn’t reactive and is fine in the car.
Gucci knows how to sit and wait and wait until told it’s ok to eat and also goes to bed when asked.

Gucci’s furever home wishes:

♥ ANOTHER PUG/PUG LIKE – YES! Gucci has always lived with other pugs.  Gucci is seeking a similar aged small female desexed pug  (between 9 to 11 years) that is well socalised, non dominant and non reactive as a companion.   It’s best that Gucci is not rehomed with other male pugs/dogs however he is fine socalising with them.  Gucci will not be rehomed as a single pug.  Gucci will not be rehomed with other unpug like breeds of dogs.
♥ HUMANS – Gucci is seeking humans that can show him positive leadership and routine.  He is very responsive to positive correction/instructions.  Gucci can never be made by his humans to become overweight ever again!!!!
♥KIDS – Older teenagers yes.  Younger kids might make Gucci stirred up and anxious.
♥FENCING – Gucci as with all of our pugs requires secure brick, timber or colourbond fencing.
♥CATS – Gucci is fine with cats that are dog savvy.
♥EXERCISE – Gucci loves at least a 15+ minute walk a day.
♥WORKING HOURS – Not suitable for homes where he would be left without humans for 6+ hours a day on a regular basis.

♥Access to the inside of his house 24/7 and an indoor bed.
♥HOUSE & YARD SIZE/TYPE – Gucci may be fine in a house/townhouse with a smaller yard.
