Male Fawn Desexed ANKC Pedigree Pug – 7.8kg
Microchip Number: #900075002008955
DOB: 28/09/2018
RE108835

Handsome four year old single dad seeking love….
Yes I’m a pug man and of course I love to hug….
Don’t worry my kids have grown up and moved on…
But if you are seeking a pair of puggies to adopt Pug Rescue says I can bring one of my daughters to tag along…

I absolutely love soft toys and race to pick them up and shake them all about…
I like showing off carrying them around in my mouth…
Waggle, waggle, waggle goes my curly fluffy tail…
My big smile will make you feel happy without fail…
As I came from the country I am getting used to suburban life and sounds….
But I am so excited to be exploring and learning about everything that is in Melbourne town…
And it won’t be long until I am the most confident pug man going around….

Yep I have a dad bod with some lose skin……
But what do you expect when I’ve gone from a big 11.5kg to losing over 3.5kg to now weigh 7.8kg and being fit and thin…
I’ve learnt to sit and wait…
I enjoy wrestling and playing with my pug friends and I go to bed when asked either in a doggy bed or a crate…

I underwent my vaccination, a major dental with 14 teethy taken out, ear infection treatment and was also desexed and underwent umbilical hernia repair at Knox Vet when I arrived into care…
My breathing wasn’t that good and I was struggling to get in air…
So at Patterson River Veterinary Centre Dr Alex of Melbourne Animal Referral Services/ Geelong Animal Referral Service Team performed BOAS “Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome” surgery involving a folded palatoplasty to thin and trim my very long and thick, soft palate, a tonsillectomy to remove my big tonsils and widened my extremely stenotic nostrils/nares…
I have crated rested and was fed soft food and meds for a few weeks…..
And now that I have had the full works in terms of vetwork and I am recovered Pug Rescue says it’s time for a new furever home to seek…

So if anyone is looking for a handsome happy chap like me…
To join their family…
I promise I won’t take up much room…
But I will of course do many puggy zoom zoom zooms…
And provide you with unconditional love..
That comes in the form of a little single dad pug….
Tommy xxx

Tommy is toilet trained but may have accidents in a new home to begin with.
Tommy is happy to sleep in a crate with another pug or a doggy bed with another pug.
Tommy is getting used to walking on a lead and harness and does best with a confident walker besides him.
Tommy is fine in a crate in the car.

Tommy’s furever home wishes:

♥ ANOTHER PUG – YES! For adopters wishing to adopt two pugs Tommy could be paired with our girls Mindy or Cassy who are actually his daughters. Tommy has always lived with other pugs.  Tommy is an active boy who loves to play and wrestle and is seeking a similar aged healthy female small desexed pug (between 2 to 5 years) who is well socalised as a companion.   Tommy will not be rehomed with other male pugs/dogs.  Tommy will not be rehomed as a single pug. Tommy will not be rehomed with another breed of dog.
♥ HUMANS – Tommy is seeking humans that can keep up with him and that can show him positive leadership.  Tommy can never be made by his humans to become overweight!!!!
♥KIDS – Yes.  Tommy would be fine with older school aged children who are respectful to dogs. He is learning not to snatch food/treats and that would be his only issue with smaller kids. Plus he absolutely loves toys so may pinch any kids toys laying around.
♥FENCING – Tommy as with all of our pugs requires secure brick, timber or colourbond fencing.
♥CATS – Unsure.
♥EXERCISE – Tommy requires at least a 20 minute walk a day plus play times.
♥WORKING HOURS – Not suitable for homes where he would be left without humans for 6+ hours a day on a regular basis.
♥Tommy absolutely requires air-condition.
♥Access to the inside of his house 24/7 and an indoor bed.
♥HOUSE & YARD SIZE/TYPE – Tommy may be fine in a house/townhouse with a smaller yard but does need somewhere to do zoomies. Coming from the country Tommy is still getting used to suburbia and city noises so may bark at things like sirens, school sounds etc. to begin with but this will stop as it has in his foster home.
