Female Black Desexed Pug – 7.2kg
Microchip Number: ##953010003766432
DOB: 07/07/2019
RE108835

Poppy is as sweet as black puggies come….
And at 3 and a half is ready to look for a new furever dad and or furever mum….
A happy gentle puggy girl…
With the softest ears and cutest tail curl…

She listens intently to what you say…
And will tilt her head back and forth either way…
Following you around the house and yard Poppy likes to help with everything…
She loves going out walking and will proudly strut along taking everything in her stride…
And out the window she will quietly look at everything if she’s going for a car ride….

Learning about living inside and how to socalise with her puggy friends Poppy has come leaps and bounds…
She now likes to play chasey and wrestling with other pugs, watch tv and jump on the couch and bounce around…
But she is also happy to cuddle on a human lap, go to bed when asked and she will sit and wait too…
Poppy says she’s a very good girl who will do what you ask her to do…

Vaccination at Knox Vet, weight loss and lots of brushes and baths too…
Poppy huffed and puffed quite a bit and we know her dad has terrible breathing to airway surgery is what we had to do…
At Patterson River Veterinary Centre Dr Alex of Melbourne Animal Referral Services/ Geelong Animal Referral Service Team performed BOAS “Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome” surgery involving a folded palatoplasty to thin and trim her very long and thick, soft palate, a tonsillectomy to remove her big tonsils and widened her stenotic nostrils/nares…
After a few weeks of crate rest, hand feeding meds and soft food Poppy is excited to report she now doesn’t huff and puff at all and can freely breathe air….

Poppy says she now rarely barks and trimming her nails is quite easy which is great…
And she’s very happy to be anyone or any pugs friend and mate…
A furever home Poppy is now crossing her paws and dreaming about….
A puggy boy that is about the same age as her to be her best friend as well as a doggy door she can go in and out….
Active humans who will include her in their lives and hearts….
Poppy says she can’t wait to make a fresh life start…
So if you think Poppy is the girl for you…
Please send an adoption enquiry through…
