I’m a soft natured very good girl and now that my life make over is done…
I am ready for my furever home and on the lookout for my own furever dad and/or mum…
Whilst in Pug Rescue care I’ve been taught so much including how to sit, wait, go in my crate, ride in the car, be picked up and cuddled, walk on lead and not to be afraid of things like I used to be…
I can be young and cheeky running around and also nap on your lap happily…
I’m always up for fun and love running around playing chasey, playing with chew toys and soft toys and jumping on the couch to watch tv…..
You can hold me like a baby and foster mum says my hair is lovely and soft ….
And I woo woo woo when it’s dinner time because I like foods a lot…
I arrived into Pug Rescue care quite timid and also frantic all at the same time…
I wouldn’t come to humans and would play catch me if you can because I was scared as I had lived on a breeding property my whole short lifetime….
Some nice people helped get desexed and make it into Pug Rescue care to ensure I ended up fine…
My breathing wasn’t the best so Pug Rescue had Dr Ricky and the Melbourne Animal Referral Services Team performed my BOAS surgery including a tonsillectomy, nare widening and a folded flap palatoplasty…
I rested for a bit over two weeks whilst being hand fed soft food and medication as my recovery…
And I am very pleased to report I now breathe wonderfully…

MISS KOI XXX
Miss Koi sleeps in an indoor crate that she is happy to share with another pug. She is also very happy to sleep/relax on a doggy bed with another pug.
Miss Koi is toilet trained.
Miss Koi now walks quite well on a lead and harness. She can occasionally become timid of things but will continue to learn that the big wide world is great.
Miss Koi knows how to sit and wait.
Miss Koi’s furever home wishes:
♥ OTHER PUG/ PUG X – YES! Miss Koi lives with other pugs in her foster home and she adores the companionship of them. She loves to play with them and cuddle up at night to a friend. Miss Koi is a very fit active girl and is seeking a fit active male pug /pug x of a similar aged and sized (between 1 to 4 years) that is well socalised and non reactive as a companion. Miss Koi will not be rehomed with other female dogs nor other completely different breeds of dogs. Miss Koi will not be rehomed as a single dog.
♥ HUMANS – Miss Koi is seeking humans that can keep up with her and that can show her positive leadership.
♥KIDS – Miss Koi would be great with school aged kids.
♥FENCING – Miss Koi requires secure brick, timber or colourbond fencing.
♥CATS – Unsure.
♥EXERCISE – Miss Koi requires at least a 30+ minute walk a day plus lots of play time.
♥WORKING HOURS – Not suitable for homes where she would be left without humans for 6+ hours a day on a regular basis.
♥Miss Koi absolutely requires air-condition.
♥Access to the inside of her house 24/7 and an indoor bed.
♥HOUSE & YARD SIZE/TYPE – Miss Koi would be best in a home with a yard.
Medical notes:
Miss Koi has undergone vet check at Knox Vet and is desexed and C5 vaccinated.
Miss Koi has undergone specialist BOAS airway surgery by Dr Ricky of MARS (folded palatoplasty to trim and reduce the thickness of her soft palate, widening of her nares/nostrils and tonsillectomy)
Miss Koi is desexed, C5 vaccinated, is microchipped & up to date with her worming & flea prevention.
