Who’s a handsome puggy boy?…
Chico is and he’s ready to bring a new family lots of puggy joy….
A little puggy teddy bear…
With lots of sprinkles of silver hair…
Along with the cutest pout and big eyes puggy eyes he used to innocently stare…

At 7 years young…
Chico has an old worldly soul but still likes to have fun…
When it’s time for walkies you should see him jump around and run…
Cuddles and pats…
Chico loves attention and sitting on laps….
He’s also quite happy to hang out with pug friends either sunbaking or on the couch…
Or join in with what is going on around the yard and house….

Vaccination, ear infections treated and major dental at Knox Vet complete…
And a trip to eye specialist Melbourne EyeVet who prescribed eyedrops for his pigmentary keratitis and of course gave him a treat…
Over 1kg in weight lost and some behavioural modification Chico says his rehab is all done…
And it’s time to find a furever dad and/or mum…

Chico sleeps on an indoor doggy bed that he shares with another pugs.  He hasn’t been crated but we are sure he would be happy to sleep/relax in a crate with another pug if needed..
Chico is toilet trained but in a new home he might have a few settling in pees.
Chico walks great on a lead and harness and isn’t reactive and is fine in the car.
Chico knows how to sit and wait and wait until told it’s ok to eat and also goes to bed when asked.

Chico’s furever home wishes:

♥ ANOTHER PUG – YES! Chico has always lived with other pugs and dogs and enjoys their companionship. He is a well socalised well mannered boy.  Chico is seeking a similar aged healthy female desexed pug  (between 6 to 8 years) that is well socalised and non reactive as a companion.   Chico has previously lived with other male pugs and whilst they cohabitated he exhibited a lot of same sex anxiety issues that comes with living with other boys.  In his foster home he has decompressed and destressed and these behaviours have basically disappeared.    Chico will not be rehomed with other male pugs/dogs. Chico will not be rehomed as a single pug.  Chico will not be rehomed with other breeds of dogs.
♥ HUMANS – Chico is seeking humans that can show him positive leadership and routine.  Chico can never be made by his humans to become overweight!!!!
♥KIDS – Yes.  Chico would be fine with children who are respectful to dogs.
♥FENCING – Chico as with all of our pugs requires secure brick, timber or colourbond fencing.
♥CATS – Chico is fine with cats.
♥EXERCISE – Chico requires at least a 15+ minute walk a day.
♥WORKING HOURS – Not suitable for homes where he would be left without humans for 6+ hours a day on a regular basis.
♥Chico absolutely requires air-condition.
♥Access to the inside of his house 24/7 and an indoor bed.
♥HOUSE & YARD SIZE/TYPE – Chico may be fine in a house/townhouse with a smaller yard.  We haven’t really heard him bark and will only vocalise at meal time.
